Stretton School was founded in 1969 by Yvonne Barnett.  It is a small, non-selective co-educational independent school in Norwich for children aged 12 months to 7 years.

The School prides itself on traditional values where children flourish under the nurturing and supportive guidance of caring staff.  Our children achieve academic excellence through a broad and balanced curriculum in small classes, where individuality is encouraged and respected.  Children have excellent attitudes towards work, are highly enthusiastic learners and develop independence and confidence for the next steps in their young lives.  They make use of the picturesque garden and learn through a range of both indoor and outdoor opportunities.

Stretton School achieves outstanding pass rates to the children’s first choice of schools and we have very strong links with a number of local independent schools, particularly Norwich School.

Academic results for the school year 2015/2016 show children achieving well above the National Average.

If you would like to come and visit us, please contact our Admissions Secretary to make an appointment.  We look forward to your visit.
